Clear advances
An advance stays as a receivable from whoever gets it. On settlement, only what is documented is charged to the fund; the remainder is returned or stays pending. No balance ever shows an advance as an expense.

Rule-based approvals
Each fund sets its threshold and how many approvals it requires. Whoever records an expense cannot approve their own, and if a small organization needs an exception, it is justified and visible.

Receipts that read themselves
