ALTAI Sports Intelligence is an international strategy and technology consulting firm, built exclusively for sport. We are the strategic and technology partner of organizations, events, venues, athletes, brands and sponsors: we understand the problem, propose how to solve it and build it.
The name
Like the keyboard shortcut: the ALT key does not replace what exists; it modifies it and opens another possibility within the same system. AI is what makes that possible today. That is how ALTAI works: it strengthens what already exists in sport rather than replacing it.
A mountain range in Central Asia that crosses Russia, Mongolia, China and Kazakhstan. One theory links its name to the Mongolian word alt, “gold”, and part of the range has been inscribed by UNESCO since 1998 as the “Golden Mountains of Altai”. Its highest peak, Belukha, rises to about 4,506 meters. The mountain brings what the brand wants to convey: height, value and permanence.

Who leads ALTAI
Founder
Sofía founded ALTAI after working inside major international sporting events and in diplomacy.
She was deputy technology manager of the athletes’ village at an international winter multi-sport event, where she coordinated the technology infrastructure and services for national delegations, and she was part of the protocol team at a youth multi-sport event: medal ceremonies, accreditation and support for sports authorities.
Before that she was head of protocol at the Embassy of Mexico in the United States, where she also coordinated the bilateral youth agenda, and spokesperson for the Polidore Foundation in Miami.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from American University in Washington, D.C.
